With lockdown easing, we can finally get back to eating out! We thought we’d help you along by composing a list of some of our favourite dining spots around Hotel Elephant, from breakfast to lunch we’ve got you covered. Elephant and Castle have loads of great places to eat and with sunny days income nows the time to book some places to eat.

1. Sidecar Coffee bar

We can’t mention places to eat without mentioning our very own Sidecar Coffee Bar! Next door to our studio and workspaces on Spare Street, Sidecar is your go-to for some of the best coffee in Elephant and Castle. They also do a pretty smashing brunch too! Located off Walworth Road they’re a great spot for a quiet lunch or breakfast. On Thursday’s Sidecar has started hosting its Thirsty Thursday’s drinks offers (2 for £9 on pints and 2 for £10 on doubles), making it a great evening spot to meet friends for a few drinks!

2. Theo’s pizza

We love Theo’s pizza makes some of the best pizza’s in London. They are open for outdoor dining and take-away, so you can get your pizza fix anywhere! Theo’s pizza makes Neapolitan-style sourdough pizzas, with a variety of topping options to suit anyone preferences.

• Open noon-late, 7 days a week

3. Mercato Metropolitano

Mercato metropolitano is a community food market with an Italian twist offering sustainable food. However, they have various stalls which offer food dishes from around the world, so it a great place to hangout and try new things! They are currently open with an abundance of heated outdoor seating making it a great opition for hanging out with friends.

4. Mama Thai

Mama Thai specialise in offering healthy and tasty Thai food. They provide authentically cooked Thai food, using locally source produce. Located on Walworth Road, they are currently only open for take-away, their large menu means they have something for everyone to enjoy.
