Selling at Markets - Talk by Sinead Koehler

Please join us on Friday the 29th of January, for tips for selling your work at markets, from founder of Crafty Fox Market, Sinead Koehler. Afterwards there will be refreshments and an opportunity for informal networking.

Crafty Fox Markets take place seasonally across London, showcasing a curated selection of contemporary craft sellers. Sinead Koehler started Crafty Fox Market in 2010.  At the time, she was selling handmade jewellery online and at markets alongside a full-time job in event management. The aim was to shake up the traditional craft fair and create something fresh incorporating a bar, DJs and workshops. Crafty Fox Markets currently take place in Brixton, Shoreditch and Peckham. Demand for stalls is high with around four applicants per place. The ethos of Crafty Fox is to support and promote designer-makers.  Those who have been trading for less than 12 months can apply to the ‘Crafty Fox Uncovered’ scheme for reduced price stalls and mentoring from an experienced market trader. The team also run Crafty Fox Talks – a series of speaker led evening events designed to educate and inspire creatives.
