How To Work With A Museum – Talk by Jenny Judova
Jenny started her career in the London Art Scene was the founder of Art Map and a journalist exploring the grassroots artist’s projects and the relationships within the art market. After being involved with Tom’s Etching Studio and Clarion List, she has published two books about the art world dynamics: ‘How to Approach a Gallery?’ and ‘Who to Know in London?’ Currently she works with museums as a travelling exhibitions manager for Vastari and runs a museums professionals network as well as monthly Art Talks.

Xmas Market at Spare Street
Hotel Elephant is excited to invite you to celebrate Christmas at Spare Street. Sip a mug of mulled cider as you browse the wide selection of original artworks, artist prints, illustrations, ceramics, jewellery, and photography.
With appreciation of handmade crafts at an alltime high, this will be the perfect opportunity to find a unique and meaningful Christmas gift. From colourful knitted baby hats by Wild Goose Chase to exclusive illustrations and stationery gifts by Becky Bird, the Xmas market at Spare Street will offer a wide range of crafted works that will get you excited for the gifting season. With prices ranging from a few pounds to up to £100, this is a great opportunity to buy affordable handcrafted gifts straight from the makers, may it be handmade Jewellery by Juna or exclusive ceramic ornaments and vases by Clara Castner.
Throughout the weekend, our Café & Bar will be open serving speciality coffee, sweet tarts and pastries along with hearty toasted sourdough sandwiches. Our sourdough & tarts come from St John’s and pastries from Comptoir Gourmand on Maltby Street. Our coffee beans are sources from the Gentlemen Barista’s based on Union Street. We will also be offering a wide selection of craft cider, beer, and cocktails!
The market is open on Friday from 6pm to 9:30pm and on Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
